Hi, Rita! Those are super clever ideas. Your reindeer looked better than mine ever would. I shared the tree cupcakes with people -- too cute!
That kit cake came out gorgeous.

The Christmas tree cupcakes look like they would require some masterful skills.

The use of an upside-down ice cream cone for the tree is genius. I like the reindeer cookies. How clever!

All look so yummy Rita - I am impressed with the 'upside down' gingerbread men. I am going to show the lady who bakes gingerbread men how she can opt for a Xmas theme with very little change! Thank!

Hi, Rita! Those are super clever ideas. Your reindeer looked better than mine ever would. I shared the tree cupcakes with people -- too cute! That kit cake came out gorgeous. Hi again Bixa. The kit cake isn't finished yet, it still needs marzipanning and icing - can't be eaten until 25th December you know. The Christmas tree cupcakes look like they would require some masterful skills. Which is why I won't be making any - too fiddly for me, I have done fiddly - the Ginger bread house I made a couple of years ago was fiddly with a capital F! The use of an upside-down ice cream cone for the tree is genius. I like the reindeer cookies. How clever! Lateral thinking at it's best! All look so yummy Rita - I am impressed with the 'upside down' gingerbread men. I am going to show the lady who bakes gingerbread men how she can opt for a Xmas theme with very little change! Thank! Hey don't thank me - I got the photo from the Internet.

These very easy parmesan shortbreads are from posh "domestic goddess" Nigella, of all people: www.nigella.com/recipes/view/parmesan-shortbreads It is a very basic recipe and you can add spices, herbs or whatever. And while it is savoury, I'm sure it is just as fattening as anything sweet! Like Nigella, I also have a lot of hair, once also almost black, but I've let mine go grey. DO NOT bake with long, thick loose hair! Hair in batter is guaranteed. (Beuuuurrrrkkk!) Wear a scarf or headband, or at least tie it back. These get hoovered up by greedy guests in a matter of minutes.

Those sound good, LaGatta.
Rita, your cake is way prettier than the one on the box!

I tried the parmesan shortbreads that you posted Lagatta and they were scrumptuous. I will surely do a repeat of them soon. Grazie!
