Two weeks ago my son purchased a beach apartment on the South Coast of Natal. It was going for a song as the owner is in the USA and needed to sell urgently.
This apartment is going to be fully renovated before we take our first holiday there. Sea air and neglect have corroded fixtures and fittings so I real make-over is on the cards. It is quite small but plenty big enough for a weekend or even a two week stay!
As it all takes shape I will post photos.
The apartment is in a secure complex with patrol guards at night and the perimeter is electrified constantly. Although this is a deterrent from outsiders, one has to be aware that other holiday makers could be opportunists too as these apartments are let, and will be the case with ours when not in use.
It consists of two bedrooms and two bathrooms, a living/kitchen area combined and is at ground level.

Two parking bays belonging to our apartment - one undercover the other not, but right outside the back entrance.

Almost opposite the apartment is the only access to the beach for residents.
