It's Sunday night - a clear dry evening and an hour or so after sunset. I can't pick up my WiFi signal as out telephone lines are still not operational even with two weeks since 'blip' off they switched us. So here I recline on my pillows, tapping away on my cellphone using data, just to let you in to my latest delight! Watching enormous fruit bats swooping past my door, circling the garden and after several fly pasts one lands on the bird feeder stacked to the eyeballs with ripe bananas. Then another and others swooping high then just skimming the water of the swimming pool. They disappear for a few minutes then swoop back and repeat the process several times.. I lie in total darkness but have two spotlights trained on the fruit. You would think this puts them off but not st all. Using my tripod and a telephoto lens I managed to get some so-so shots. As I can't show you until I return in October it's going to be a long wait. And I haven't forgot I still have some Kruger ones as well!
