In September I'll be choosing and buying tulip bulbs to plant in my many terracotta pots. I wait until the geraniums have given their last flowers before I pull them out. If I had a greenhouse I would take cuttings. I have nowhere to keep them in the house.

You could try digging up the geraniums, putting them in pots, pruning them back to stumps, thnn stocking the pots somewhere cool inside. Hmmm, I can't think of anywhere appropriate.

What SWEET little lilies! I do not know them at all. Seriously? They're all over NOLA,a very old fashioned plant. "(All the little old ladies have them " :-/she says,as she realizes suddenly she's one. Oh, what an awful moment that just was!) I was introduced to them by my mentor here years ago,Mrs. E. I'm delighted to have passed this along.
