I sure hope Amy manages to get it together - she's dynamite!

Amy has an amazing voice, I never really noticed just how good it was until now. I'm going to try and embed this with one, imec. (it says embedding disabled again) Avril Lavigne

Deyana, all you have to do is take the last set of letters after the equal sign and stick them between the youtube brackets -- in this case it would have been 'NGXYAJoDWCk' -- in other words,

deyana, Avril Lavigne was my daughter's first ever concert - I took her as she was only about 8. As she had nothing to compare to she later bragged about how we had the best seats in the place - they were in fact some of the very furthest from the stage .

Yay! Thanks K., you guys are the best!
Imec, yes, Avril is great isn't she? Kids are so cute, I bet your daughter still remembers that concert.
I like the energy in the Sk8boi video.

I really love Pink's voice and her look, but I find myself hoping she'll get a new producer, one who will help her break out of her current mold.

I know it's not the most recent thing in the world, but I have always loved Natalie Imbruglia's "Torn".

Great song Bixa.
Stevie Nicks has a very distinctive voice and her stage presence was something else. I saw an interview with her a few days ago, and she hardly looks any different.

I gave up on Rod Stewart after he went all Las Vegas. The REAL Rod Stewart got his start as the singer in The Jeff Beck Group (along with Ronnie Wood):

aa, Fleetwood Mac were in the Peg last week. Didn't go.
My latest favorite "rock chick" is Emily Haines. She sings for a great Toronto based band called Metric. She also palys keyboards. This is from their new album:

THANK YOU for introducing me to this band, Imec! They're great & she is perfect with them -- love all the different things she does with her voice.

Here is one of my favorites. It is called Killing the Blues from Raising Sand with Alison Krauss and Robert Plant. They won several Grammies for this unusual colaboration. I am not a country western fan, but I am a hugh fan of Robert Plant from Led Zeppelin. Alison Krauss has one of the purest voices I have ever heard and it brings goose bumps to my arms.

Beautiful song, T63 -- and much of what John Prine wrote will raise goosebumps. No offense, but I just can't listen to the youtubes w/bad sound reproduction. However, I wanted to hear the song, so listened to it here: . I'm trying to encourage everyone to try google instead of just youtube. You'll see above that several of my selections weren't youtube. That's because either youtube didn't have the song, or the sound quality was so bad it ruined it.
