I have been trying to upload some little pics of my Vincas but get this error message when I click on -Ädd image to post-then click on the selected photo: "Can't get target upload source info"
So frustrating!

I have some photos but am getting a 'Webserver is down' message so the photos wont load. GRrrrrr! I have been trying to upload some little pics of my Vincas but get this error message when I click on -Ädd image to post-then click on the selected photo: "Can't get target upload source info" Tod, is it possible that you need to try to reload your photos to your computer? Perhaps they did not load correctly the first time.

Hello Bixa - going to try once more and think you are right. These are pics I took on my cellphone. I have it set up that all my photos taken go immediately to my Google photos on my computer automatically. I then can select and download them. When I click on Ädd Image" the computer asks me to either "Browse from your computer or type an Image URL" I always Browse and select a photo which then goes onto the message I'm typing I have no idea how to do the URL thing.. Worked like a charm until now. I now get a blue eye with a stripe through it and that message about the Server.

Hmmm. No idea what that is. I believe you have a Mac, right? Those are total mysteries to me. You can't get a url for any photo unless you have hosted it. The host site is what provides the url. If you use the "Add image to post" from a message box on anyport, you are in fact getting the picture hosted by the imgbb site. To check whether or not the pictures in question actually got downloaded from google into your computer you should go to what I believe is called "Finder" on a Mac. Read the "Open windows and files" part HERE.

I sent these two photos of my volunteer Vincas to my husbands phone. Asked him to send them back to my phone. Downloaded them from my Google photos and look what happened! Now can someone explain why that changed everything and allowed the photos to be sent on to Anyport?

Because those photos were downloaded.

This is a small tree in my brother in laws garden . It was an anniversary present some years ago but he’s lost the label. Anybody recognise it?

Yes, I wondered about Cercis but the leaves are quite heart shaped and barely veined. I think it’s the right track though.
It’s a very striking little tree.

Yaay! That's gratifying.
Brother-in-law's garden is quite beautiful, with the poppies & the iris & the nice yellow Cercis. What is the white flower between the poppies & the Cercis?

I don’t know bixa. I’ll check next time I visit.
Yes, he’s an excellent gardener and bear in mind he is now in his late 80’s. His eldest son is a garden designer and has designed gardens for Chelsea.

What luck you had with that in-law! And I assume his son is your nephew, meaning that you can take some genealogical pride in his garden design prowess.

I've got a plant growing, about the size of a small sapling at the moment. These are the leaves. Any idea what it could be? I'm just thinking of whether to keep it or not -

bjd, thanks, you've confirmed what I found out so that'll do me. Mick yes they are. I'll probably keep it even though I've no idea where it came from or how it got here.
