I had "Take It Easy" by The Eagles all day yesterday. Thank goodness it's a song I like. Sometimes songs I hate get stuck in my head.

It's that time of year and it is only going to get worse and worse as the holiday season approaches and I am forced to endure listening to Christmas Carols in every store I enter. Today, getting some last minute bakings supplies at the grocery. I need to find a Muslim or Buddhist grocery store to get me through.

I have long been convinced that the only safe place to be at Christmastime might be Tibet.
Everyone is now officially placed on advisement that the very second I become absolute dictator, the first thing I will do is have Little Drummer Boy wiped out of existence -- from the very minds of humanity, if possible.

Yes, Tibet is the ticket. T. and I have been dreaming about it for years. Both the aforementioned songs are 2 of my most hated as well but the one about the chestnuts is way,way up there.

Oh hell. Now THAT is going through my head. Gawd, does it have sucko lyrics, all of which I seem to know! However, I must remind you all that Little Drummer B :-Xy is the one most likely to come pouring out of the speakers in the supermarket when you've completed about three quarters of your shopping.

My whole family knows that if I ever catch that Little Drummer Boy, I'll smash his little f'ing drum to bits and give him some new words for that composition of the devil.

The big finale song of the very good group that was playing at a nearby fiesta was the song Pinotepa, which got lodged in my head. It's one of those songs I know & like, but have never known the words. Went for a walk with the dog, with my brain supplying na na na na Pintotepa! na na na na Pinotepa! over&over&over again.
I think looking through several videos for a good one to post here may have cured me, so thanks to you all.

I don't know what I did to deserve this, because I haven't even heard it on the radio in years, but I am having a Rick Astley attack.

I've been singing this one all week. We're keen ballroom dancers and we waltzed to this last week.
There's nothing like a beautiful English (slow) waltz in the arms of the one you love, and this one brought tears to my eyes as we danced. I know, I'm a soppy old bugger. ;D

Oh goodness gracious Betsie,or should I say, "Heavens to Betsie",for that one,JEEEEEEEEEZ!!! The one I have stuck in my head is a ditty from a children's song,"and the wheels of the bus go round and round...and the people on the bus go...." (must be from when I nannied last week and heard on the child's music player) ARGHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!! I can't get rid of it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

"Play that Funky Music White Boy" is knocking around in my head today.
The local oldies radio station has a pretty short playlist, considering how much old music there is out there, and too much of it is from the disco era. This one seems to roll around pretty often.
