Went to Wahaca near Covent Garden at the weekend. What a FANTASTIC place; check out their website. Mexican food; good quality in a relaxed and easy-going atomsphere. We just ordered whatever we wanted - whether it be 'starters' or mains, or just drinks - when we wanted for about 2 hours. Quality.

Oh -- obviously I'm really curious about that place! Do you know if it serves real Oaxacan food? Are you still so sluggish from eating that you couldn't provide a link? The link ( www.wahaca.co.uk/) is fun -- love the shadow dancers. I have no doubt the food is good, but it ain't Oaxacan! Guess you all will have to travel to visit me to have the real thing.

Well then, there's plenty of food branches for her to expound on that.

Let's think a moment: why eggzackly would the name of the restaurant make Bixa think it would serve food from Oaxaca?

Pardon my ignorance, but is Oaxaca another name for Mexico, or is Wahaca the pronounciation for Oaxaca ?

How do you find restaurants to try when you go to London? Do you read reviews online or ask friends, or .... ? I imagine you can find food from any nationality there.

Read reviews, or use a guide book. But we were taken to Wahaca by the friend we met up with. See ArsePamphlet for photos.
