Awwww ~ the sweetie-pie little snoozers! ❤️
Love that rug. What is the black-bordered thing above the pig statue? It looks as though it's filled with marshmallows.

Pets look so happy to be fed and kept warm rather than having to go out and hunt for food in the cold.

The beagle is daughter’s dog waiting for breakfast.
The black thing above Shooshoo the pig is the electric convector heater. The marshmallows are pebbles.

Interesting! Can you open it in order to roast actual marshmallows?

Pacha, my favorite. About 9 years old now... This cat always holds its tail at that strange angle... Narnia, sister of Eragon.

Obviously totally delightful, but I remember a photo that I saw on Facebook of your vacationing cats in the car on the way to the south of France once, and it was magnificent.

Wildboars. Marcassins in french. Kids of the sangliers (wildboars, wilde Sau in German) cousins of the porks. There, they are in the aromatic gardens. Thete should be mint, garlic, stuff like that. But they were nice.

I often wonder if wild dogs or cats ever relax like that or if it is reserved for the domestic ones who feel totally safe where they live.

I somehow missed your feline photos Whatagain. Delightful!! Our cat Pompeii likes to curl up in the bathroom sink too. The travelling kitties are precious as well. My favorite pic is the one of the Tabby in what appears to be a formal portrait.
What a great pic of Oliver!!
Good question Kerouac. I would guess it depends on where they feel the safest and least vulnerable. Of course, we always say they are playing cute for us.

Whew...finally caught up with a bit of trivia... Cats that have 3 blocks of colour in their fur are called "Calico Cats" They are nearly always females. Mostly white they can have patches of tabby, tortoiseshell, black and ginger/red. Seafarers thought them lucky...more on Google Quote [input type="checkbox" class="ui-manager-checkbox"] Post by cheerypeabrain on [abbr class="o-timestamp time" data-timestamp="1589746516000" title="Mon May 18 2020 05:45:16 GMT+0930 (Australian Central Standard Time)"]18 May 2020 at 5:45am[/abbr] Dora is beautiful Lugg! I often wonder if wild dogs or cats ever relax like that or if it is reserved for the domestic ones who feel totally safe where they live I watched a leopard in Nepal lying along a strong tree branch. He had a rear leg just hanging over one side with the other leg folded under him. His tail stretched along the branch giving lazy flicks to the flies and his chest and head rested on the branch. He was dozing and looked just like my puss cats. I think the "Cat nap" is universal

What a great pic of Oliver!! Thanks, Casimira! In real life he is sort of a nervous dog, but he has his moments. His two great traits are a killer smile and that when he leaps, he appears to be floating in air.
