Deyana, yes I can see both of those breeds in Angel. A nice combination of breeds. I love the symetry in the beige colouring against the black. She looks so relaxed, it was either a rainy day picture or just after a good long walk. I am thinking a rainy day as her paws are so clean!
Cheers, Mich

mich, Angel is an outside/inside dog. In another words she goes wherever she wants! Probably why her paws always stay clean, unlike my carpets. Jebidiah and Molly look like best buddies for sure.

They look at bit too serious. Tell them to relax -- it's only a camera.

My husband had them come up and wake me up by having a playfight on our bed, he had just told them to take a break and they just stopped and looked at him, it was so cute. Then yes, it was a big jump off and down the stairs they went to chase each other around the furniture. They are so good with each other. Jeb is the type of dog that eats his food all at once and Molly eats hers leisurely through the day, surprisingly Jeb does not touch hers even though her bowl is placed right next to his. Cheers, Mich

I love it when rescue dogs have a good ending. Cheery, she does have a nice coat, but when she sheds I have to brush her constantly.

Ah Casi, I am glad to read that you saved Papi from such terrible conditions. He must have a strong will to survive and was rewarded by given a warm happy home!
Our Jebidiah too came to us from a sad situation. Someone found him in a rural area and brought him to our Humane Society. He weighed only 35 pounds and had a broken femur that had healed. They decided because of his temperment that they would call in a vet and have it fixed by surgery. When we went there looking for a dog to adopt we were lucky to be shown him, he was all alone on the surgical side with a large incision down his hind leg. We all took to one another immediately and when he was stronger we were able to bring him home. We are all very happy together. He is now his normal weight of 80 pounds. Cheers, Mich

My parents' little terrier was mostly an indoor creature and did not much like the feel of snow on her paws. So she would fly across the frozen garden, touching the ground as little as possible.

I know I have shown our Jeb before, but I cannot help myself! This is Jebidiah watching out the window waiting for daddy to come home from work. When it is near for him to be home, I just say go wait for daddy and he goes and sits or as it this pictures, lays there waiting to see the car. Thill, Casi and Kerouac, love the photos of your pets! Cheers, Mich

Great picture, but you can't look at it very long without feeling compelled to go dump tuna fish in a dish and set it on the floor next to a bowl of water.

Mo, age 11 (almost 12). I tried to photograph his sister, Mia, but she's a bit camera shy. BTW, there is another thread on Any Port called Pictures of Our Pets in the Putting Down Roots board. Expect some duplication here (including this one!)

Cats are so good about sitting on newspapers or keyboards, or sitting directly in front of the television screen, when they have decided that you must devote your full attention to them for some reason.

Our cats have learned to recognize when the movie credits roll (must be the music that cues them), because they always come asking for their dinner as soon as the credits come on the screen, never before. (Can they be smart enough to realize that we won't get up to feed them before that?)

My husband always drinks a glass of water at the end of his meal, when our dog Jeb hears the icicles clinking against the glass when he sets it down, he immediately gets up and waits for his bowl to be filled. Habit, I know, but I like to think he is so smart. Cheers, Mich

can't it be that the cats notice whether you are more settled down, planning to sit there for a while - and then when the credits start kind of waking up from that, being more in a "i need to get up soon" mode? i thought animals often feel that type of thing?

No, Kimby ~~ she was just an exceptionally sweet little dog girl. I wish you weren't having problems with the slow internet so you could see my thread with all the pets I photographed that day.
