Looking at some of the highly desirable objects in Htmb's photos of Cedar Key souvenirs, I can see that many similar items are available in airport shops. I was under the impression that no glass or ceramic objects could be transported in carry-on luggage. I bought some of the local tinware to give to my mother for Christmas tree decorations & wasn't allowed to have it in carry-on. (Because I always hijack planes using a brightly painted tin strawberry.) What about the Murano-style paperweights in the Cedar Key store -- wouldn't those be potential weapon no-nos? (Begging the fact that ones fist or forearm is also a handy weapon.) As far as that goes, are we girl terrorists now banned from wearing our favorite stiletto heels aboard?

No, Bixa. Girl terrorists are now wearing sneakers with explosives packed into the air bubbles in the soles. They had too much trouble ramming their feet into their stilettos after a long flight during which they had removed their shoes.
