Yearning for tomorrow morning.
I'll be at the Wanking Frog watching Manny the Pacman beat up Miguel Cotto with a whole roast pig and San Migs specially imported from Manila!
And now I'm off for the weekend, see yas!

Your delicate condition?
imec, you spend so much time hopping on and off planes, do you have any idea how many you've been on altogether?

Only about 50 segments this year - usually do about 100 segments (I.e. 1 takeoff + 1 landing = 1 segment) per year.
Hey, I'm on the plane right now posting from my Blackberry. Taking off in a few minutes.

Wouldn't it be wonderful to just have one day where there is no inhumanity to man? That the only death is someone dying in their sleep?

Yes, that would be a good day.
My random thought is that I'm glad this forum was created.

I've finally made up my mind that my 10 year old will be getting the H1N1 vaccination on Dec 8. My other two boys refuse to have it done, but that's their decision.
I've always been one to let my kids make their own decisions, as much as possible, especially as they have gotten older.

My other random thought is that I'm really happy with the way my book is coming alone. And have had some really positive feedback on it. It's hard to write, but something that is worth while doing.
It helps that I have a very 'retentive' memory, and can recall events back to when I was two years old.

Authorship: Beginning to wish I'd taken the advance in lieu of a bigger residual.

fumobici, is that on a book you wrote? They give you two options?

I did the illustrations and was unfairly credited with a co-authorship. I have no idea what the usual procedure is with books and financial arrangements, that sort of thing could be common or unheard of for all I know.

That I have too much going on in my life right now.
Got a call from India last night from my brother. (He's on vacation there right now).
Looks like I'll be making a trip to British Columbia within a few weeks, or whenever he gets back, to finalize the transaction on the farm.

And then, I'm invited to take a trip across Africa. A journey that would last 1 year approximately. sounds perfect and like a real adventure, and it's with someone who knows their way around and knows Africa well, having done it all before. but I can't go. Too many responsibilities at home.

It's wedding season. Second wedding this month just down the street from my house. Don't know whether to move out for the next three days or just bear the music.

Why do I have so many things on my desk that don't belong there?
(for starters... 3 hotel keys, a carriage bolt, a golf ball, teflon plumbing tape, a swiss army knife, a Tide-to-go stick, a BIG Robertson screwdriver... )
