Every time I go down into the family room, I feel like I'm swimming underwater. It's so sea blue! All I need to do now is paint a few fish and a shark or two on the walls.

Apparently, there is an fantastic view of Pittsburgh driving in over one of the bridges. At least that's what Wanda said -- she was my dead friend's mother and was trying to explain how Pittsburgh was just as nice as Paris, when she came to visit her daughter.

Oh dear. You mistook a Canadian for an American. He's probably lying in a heap of torn, maple-edged pieces right now.

It did clear up though and I had a delightful dinner with interesting company atop Mt. Washington with a truly breathtaking view of the city. Having said that though - you bet your ass I wish I was in France!

Is this another nephew, Kerouac? I thought your nephew was already in Paris?
My random thought today is: I'm glad it's nearly the weekend.

What am I going to do on this long weekend?
Yesterday was the King's Coronation Day, tomorrow is the former King's Birthday, Sunday to Tuesday is Bon Om Tuk, the water festival. All public holidays but our office is not following any this week and we only got Monday and Tuesday off next week.

The other night I dreamed that Rikita arrived at the bus station (I don't know of which city) with three gigantic suitcases and in a foul mood because she didn't want to be there. What on earth could that mean?

My random thought during the 70mph storm that's raging right now.....will the gigantic cedar tree opposite my house come crashing through my roof tonight?

My yard is full of enormous trees, any one of which could do the job in our frequent Winter storms. You have to adopt a fatalistic "If it happens, it happens" indifference or you'll never sleep on those nights.
