Spectacular!! My favorite is the second to last one.
There's nothing like lying down outside on a summer's day with someone you love and looking for images in big fluffy clouds like these.

Thank you all.
We do have excellent storms, but not tonight. Being in a valley and getting the cloud system from the mountains all around makes for some dramatic lightning shows and great, rolling, deafening thunder.

Maybe you could sell your photo to the chamber of commerce for the State of Oaxaca, Kerouac! Seriously, it's a beautiful picture with a real feeling of sky dragons. Deyana, that photo has such a wonderful high, cold feeling to it. It would fit into that "chilly scenes of winter" thread as well, wouldn't it? Traveler63, that is such a magnificent picture with the mounded clouds on the horizon, and the upper clouds mimicking the texture of the water. (When you're in the mood, check out the photo hosting options in Port Authority. Hosting your pictures will give you more leeway for posting.)

Bixa
I tried to post exactly like the instructions, but somehow Adobe on line photo won't work, so I did it this way. I would go to another photo hosting site, but I have seven full albums on photoshop so I am inclined to continue with it.

No, I can't figure out either what part of the Adobe code to use to make it work. If you have another photo hosting site you can use it for when you want to post individual pictures -- very handy for when you need it. Hosting a photo from another site is a cinch with Photoshop. You choose from a menu of possibilities (my computer; web url; mobile phone; email; Ask toolbar) & tell it to upload. In this case I chose "web url" and pasted in your url from Reply #13. You can see the results below. Photoshop also has a bulk uploader so you can upload entire albums at one time.

Gorgeous picture, HW! Wow, what a beautiful sky of mid-level clouds. The bases of mid-level clouds typically appear between 6,500 to 20,000 feet (2,000 to 6,000 meters). Because of their lower altitudes, they are composed primarily of water droplets, however, they can also be composed of ice crystals when temperatures are cold enough. ;D I looked that up! here. Too bad it doesn't have the common names for clouds, which I find fascinating. Is that a mackerel sky in HW's pic?

GREAT group of pictures, Kerouac. I particularly love the first one with the rain on the horizon, and the third one, with the airplane.
Don't think I commented on your photo of Bali in Reply #7, which is exceptionally beautiful.

Those are magnificent, Bixa. I have always loved how cumulonimbus clouds can catch the setting sun, even when it is long gone at ground level.
