What an amazing find! The little ones are truly 'Bambi' personified! You are so lucky to have this wonderful wildlife a ball throw away!

Re: 233 on previous page: This den of foxes is just off the highway on the way to the cottage. We stopped the car to watch them play. There are at least 4 kits, and they play just like our cats do, pouncing and rolling around on the ground. Well on the way to the lake last week, one of the kits was dead in the road, and the rest were no where in sight. I suspect they have moved to another den. The survivors, anyway.

We see whitetail deer everyday at our home in the woods, but at the lake house we have only seen deer twice, and they are mule deer. These two, plus a third one down by the water, walked along the shore after sunrise one morning. Two "velvet bucks" and a doe.

Great shot of the bear, Kimby! Sweet froggy. Love your pond, Mr. Cactus. Kimby, that's such a beautiful picture of land, creatures & water, especially the way the deer seems to be looking right at you. Here's another "here's looking at you" pic:

Gad, Kimby -- two really great shots! I love all the detail in the armadillo's shell & the sun shining through its ears.

Tod, those cheetahs are so beautiful. Definitely an animal I want to see in the wild at least once in my lifetime.
That weasel is cute. He does have a rascally little face, doesn't he?
Great photos of the birds, Kimby. Love the shadows. Nice armadillo, too. Armadillos are such wacky-looking creatures, aren't they?
