Beautiful, Imec! This brings back memories of the first 17 years of my life. Something close to this was in my 'back yard' of 20 acres.

Thanks Jazz! I never tire of this view and consider myself very fortunate to have it right out my back door.

Good grief, Kerouac. That first one is an excellent picture, but the second one ~~ whoa, 3-D! I love the shapes, colors & perspective.

Bjd and Imec, I love how your pictures combine on this page, with the perfect blend of wistful, summers-fading closeups and exquisite views of trees and landscape.

That's because all those pictures were taken in Canada. We don't get nice autumn colours in France, just an occasional tree.

Yes, that is Parc Monceau, perhaps my least favorite park in Paris.

I like any park in Paris because it's so different to here. Everything is neat , clean and organised - the childrens play areas have to be some of the best in the world. I keep dreaming up ways of getting my grandson over there

Ha! Parc Monceau was "my" park when we visited Paris last year as it was literally across the street from the Hilton - we thoroughly enjoyed it.
Beautiful images kerouac - colours are magnificent!

Ooo I love Autumn! Spectacular and vibrant colours on all the pictures. This is one of my favourite Autumn trees in my garden atm, the small but perfectly formed Spindle tree - amazing colour combo:

Whoever says that orange and pink 'don't go together' obviously hasn't seen Myrt's spindle tree!...I come across spindle trees on the park here...they always look so exotic and slightly incongruous...lovely tho ;D

Spindle is a fairly anonymous and small tree most of the year but I just love the way it suddenly goes all girly and bursts into this fabulous pink/orange 'look at me, look at me' amongst all the brilliant oranges and reds of Autumn. Maybe I was that Spindle tree in another life......I'm just waiting for my moment.... ;D
