What a perfect capture of autumn splendor! That fourth one is a silk kimono and the last two are almost too lovely to be real.

I am lucky, I have a fancy plane tree in the garden whose main selling point is its autumn colour. But the leaves are rapidly falling and that was just a quick snap earlier today, nothing was arranged.

On my street, most of the leaves are already gone (I don't even know what kinds of trees they are). I wanted to take an interesting footpath view of the leaves this evening, but there were just too many people walking around. Maybe tomorrow, if there are still some leave on the ground.

I never realized grape leaves changed color. Lovely pictures with a real autumnal feel to them.

I've even noticed some maple-like fiery reds on some of the local grape vines. Here's a Japanese Maple in the yard:

These are all quite wonderful. I really like autumn foliage pictures, especially since we don't get as much color here in north Florida.

That is exquisite, Fumobici -- the shapes, the colors, the depth, the slight sense of movement.

Fantastic colours Kerouac & fumobici! Kerouac I would love to know where you took the photos of the grape vines, and the walled garden?
Breeze - Terridic photo - what a tree!

The autumn leaves are fabulous. Looking at the photograph in more detail I see an unfamiliar bus in the distance. And my eyes follow a sign I love...PHO! To the right is a glimpse of a building similar to the rounded arched roofs of the Notre-Dame-De-La-Compassion Chapel in the 17th.

That is actually the glass wall in front of the Quai Branly museum (blue wandering line) and the sign is actually PHQ for Photoquai.
