Oh! I came here to post my own pictures and am only now seeing that totally charming photo of the seamstress. Lovely, Cheery.

So inspiring to see sculptures like this. I would like to know what the artist titled them to understand more about them. Wonderful artistry. Cheers, Mich

I need to take a few more photos from different angles. Luckily they are very close to my office.

Without my zoom to the top of the Bastille column, I would have never noticed the video camera.

That is an amazingly unusual group of statues! I wouldn't mind knowing where the photo was taken and what exactly/or who exactly are the men obviously in a bad way in need of help?

Those statues get tired of standing around all the time and sometimes they fall off the stand!
Actually, that installation is in Battery Park at the tip of Manhattan. Strangely enough, I could not find an explanation or even a mention of the statue in the websites about Battery Park although I found some stock photos of it. The only caption just says "dramatic statue" without saying what it is.

I love the Battery Park one. I can't believe I've never seen it before. Now I want to find it!

Is that a light sprinkling of snow I see? As yet I have not been past Ben Franklin's statue. The sculptor seems to have captured a soft peaceful look on his face.
Thank you for including a photo of the quote from the eulogy delivered by orator Mirabeau - "The Genius who set America free and showered on Europe torrents of light"
