When I was a kid, I didn't use to like hot dogs, but now I do. Just the cheapest store brand dog on a white bun with ketchup.
Maybe it's because now I have braces and like softer foods... :-#

After just writing about avoiding prepared food, if someone presented me with a bowl of Campbell's tomato bisque soup (made with milk) and a grilled cheese sandwich (made with Kraft processed American cheese), I might just proposition said person. And imec, to make up for my bottled dressing thoughts...I'm with you on Kraft dinner. Although its been years, I would pull up a chair promptly.

Made a big batch of cream of tomato soup today (another shortcut - I use canned crushed pear tomatoes) and had some with a grilled cheese on rye for supper. When I make KD, I add real cheddar cheese and use whipping cream instead of the milk .

I'm not sure why.

Good to see I'm not the only one who goes for these things! ;D ;D ;D
I buy Campbell's cream of mushroom soup quite regularly. I add it to fried bits and pieces then use it as a sauce to accompany pasta. I have to jazz it up a bit though.

I have always like the chemical horror of Cool Whip. Luckily, it is not available in France.

Is that the chemical horror also called cool aid? I used to love it with ice cubes in a big see- through jug. I actually know a hotel here that serves 'Tang' as orange juice...

Kool Aid is a different chemical horror. Cool Whip is some sort of artificial whipped cream made out of toxic waste.

It’s starting to get cooler here and I am so looking forward to my favourite cold weather lunch at my desk – Heinz cream of tomato soup and a plastic cheese toastie. Perfect.
Other things mentioned here I like are hotdogs, fish finger sandwiches and rum.
Greggs sausage rolls are good too.

I ate something yesterday that I know has to be one of the unhealthiest foods known to this part of the world. Hadn't had one in years and it jumped out at me. It was a small pie that is sold individually here with a rich custardy filling. I think they are fried . You just know when you eat one that it can't be good for you. Mine was coconut.

I am addicted to plain salted potato crisps (pommes chips in France). If I go to other people's houses and spy a bowl I wolf the lot.

These Hubigs things sound great - wish I knew about them when I was in NOLA last time.
Here's a cool video about how they recovered after Katrina...

Both my daughter and I are under the weather tonight. She has a full blown cold and I am fighting one.
So what better night to make make Kraft Mac and Cheese. It is the most perfect dish right at this moment. I had to go out and buy some and was surprised to find it at $1 per box. That's the same price I paid for it when I was in college.
And this weekend, I was at a party where someone brought a dessert called Snicker salad. It was made with Cool Whip, mini marshmallows, diced apple and chopped Snicker Bars. I was cornered into trying it and had to admit it didn't taste bad. Surprisingly light feeling.

I hate poutine. Nothing to do with chips/fries, crisps, calories, fat or noxious subtances (which might make me avoid it , but not hate it). I dislike gloppy things.
The things I shouldn't like but do are the normal health-related ones: crisps, chips, fatty stuff. And I'm infuriated that the healthier alternatives such as baked crisps and crackers always cost so much more than the greasy ones.
By "liking" I certainly don't mean I eat such crap every day, or I'd be dead by my age.
