Love 'em! What a great thing to think of doing, and great pics to boot.
What is that building? Is that some kind of scaffolding, or part of the skin of the building?

What is that building? Is that some kind of scaffolding, or part of the skin of the building? That's the new façade of the Gare Montparnasse. The ripped the front of the hideous 1960's building off about 10 years ago and put up a new glass front.

Nice, Kerouac.
Palm tree: not near Gare Montparnasse, probably?

No, that is the same palm tree that you can see in my Luxembourg gardens thread.

Beautiful, Kerouac. That last is a canal?

Yes, that's the Canal Saint Martin.
Don't the rest of you have any reflections to add?

This is one of a favorite cinemas in Paris. Luckily, it is also the very closest one to where I live.

It is actually a double cinema (6 screens each) on both sides of the water. A little boat goes back and forth every few minutes for ticketholders.

Don't the rest of you have any reflections to add? This sounds like "the dog ate my homework", but I took some reflection pics today but can't do anything with them until I recharge the batteries. Anyway, your photos will blow mine out of the water, so to speak. I think you've cornered the market on imaginative & gorgeous here.

Wasn't sure whether to post this here or in Sunrise - the main subject tough is the reflection as the river is particularly calm this morning. (battery was dead in the big camera - had to use the pocket cam :

Very, very nice everyone.
Kerouac, Paris looks even more beautiful when reflected!

Well, I hugely apologize, Imec ~~ I wrote about your wonderful pictures this morning, but must have navigated away from the page before the message "took".
That is a beautiful, beautiful picture, Imec. All the elements work, from the house almost hidden in the residual darkness, to the delicate tracery of the bare trees, to the soft tints of the sky and the reflection. Lovely!

I love the reflection of trees on a windshield.

And the vehicle seems clean, too! Hmmm... maybe that's why I've never seen any reflections in it before.

I can see myself reflected in your sunglasses, Imec, as I give you the beady-eyed glare occasioned by the OVERSIZED PHOTOs.

Wow, Imec -- you really have a knack with these! Some of them are so subtly dramatic, too, such as the third one in the car series. You look at it once & think, uh-huh, tree reflected on car. THEN you realize the reflection is right-side up, which makes it upside down! I love the "abstract" headlights. Clever, clever, to catch the wine glasses quietly doing their thing!
