Imec, I thought I was immune to water shots such as yours, having been exposed to so many of them on La. calendars, etc., but your photo is truly exceptional. It's so crisp and serene, and the colors are so delicately varied.

Every time I visit this thread I leave with my jaw open. The photos here are wonderful examples of the great "eye" so many posters on Anyport have.
I always feel challenged by a) few opportunities for water reflections here in the desert and b) the blinding sun, which I am not really confident in dealing with on my camera, when it comes to other reflective opportunities (assuming I have my actual camera, rather than my cell phone.)
I'm not whining though. I am happy to live vicariously through all of your splendid images.
Ugly?! GreyGhost, I love the way the swoop of the glassed arch in the first photo of #154 echoes the art nouveau architecture of Paris. Then, the boxy shape of the bottom one, along with its column, opaque panels, and bowed 2nd story announces a fun 1950s movies sensibility.
