Interesting indeed!
I don't agree with the Zapatistas being called a subculture, however. It's a real revolutionary movement and army fighting real problems in Chiapas. Their very existence helps focus attention on many of the Mexican government's shortcomings and abuses. Their stronghold is in an area that is heavily Mayan and traditional. The clothing in the photo is that of only one tribal group of the region. The use of Che as a revolutionary image teamed with slangy slogans and/or popular religious imagery is common to other political movements in Mexico as well.
My favorite of the groups listed might well be the Bills, mostly for their charming belief that the incorrectly named "Indians" were in fact Indians.
Re: The Rolingas -- In Mexico, at least, The Rolling Stones are generally referred to as "Los Roling", much in the way that a poodle is referred to as "un french".
