Kerouac - I would dearly love to know where you took that ice cream vendor and the carousel. I ask because the only carousel exactly like that one is at the bottom of Sacre Coeur on Place St-Pierre. It is proposed to be over 100 years old.

That was in Toulouse, but really you can see those carousels all over France and probably Europe.
