It is a big problem in Brittany, where most of the pigs in France are raised. There are numerous villages where the tap water is not potable.

What do our Mexican residents say about industrial pig farming? Some people (not sure it was true or just hype) thought the famous flu doing the rounds at the moment originated in a Mexican industrial pig farm.
I understand it is a real issue in Poland, where the nasty multinationals have cheated the farmers into changing their ways, then forcing them to abandon their livelihoods.
