HIV+ foreigners finally allowed to visit the U.S.

After a 22 year ban based on ignorance, the United States will finally begin to lift its ban on HIV positive visitors on November 2nd.

As President Obama pointed out, only about 10 countries in the world mandated such a ban.

Unfortunately, it will take until 2010 for the new rules to be applied.

I don't know how I missed seeing this post.

How shocking. I never knew there was such a ban. 2010 is almost here, but why does it take so long for the new rules to be applied.
