Somehow, that reminds me of musical notation. Very nice!

Yes, it does Bixa! You're very observant! The yellow wall with the black shadows creates a stunning photo.

Most interesting shadows Bixa! It looks like it could be from a hanging basket....

Thank, Tod! Yes, the shadows are from that "squirrel's foot" fern whose foliage can be seen on the right.

Excellent. Early in the day or late in the day?

Late in the day, on our way to see the sunset on top of a dune in the Wabiba Sands Desert in Oman.

Fabulous picture, Amboseli. The one I have tried for many times but never achieved...light wrong or a vehicle drove into the scene as the shutter clicked!
May I borrow it as my desktop pic for a while, please? It has all the romance of a desert image. I am also travelling with you on this trip...my sort of journey.

A wonderful photo! I immediately thought of a curious creature on display one year. It was outside County Hall on the Thames - the sculptor was Dali.

Yes, I thought of the famous Dali elephants as well.

Terrific Bixa! Seeing those thin palm tree stems always makes me wonder how on earth a palm gets enough nutrients and water up there to produce a canopy of leaves!

Very neat. Interesting to see how the steps completely alter the shadows of the loops

Thank you, Mossie! I was staring down them, thinking how if I went down there I'd have to climb back up again, when I finally noticed how interesting the patterns were.

I'll check Bixa. But first I need to find another pic resizer. The one I used to work with doesn't work very well, apparently.
