Actually, I have no objections whatsoever to PET bottles used for beverages that will be consumed rapidly, like Beaujolais nouveau. They are light to ship and easy to recycle.
That isn't much of a dent in a blottle of wine. I do like the little red rooftop cat. Renzo doesn't do that very much anymore since his horrible misadventure last year. Before that I'd always see him on roofs around here.
fumobici, K2 works for a highly Islamic-country-based company.

Meanwhile, I bought some more Beaujolais Nouveau today (and we drank some Beaujolais at the office at noon, which is totally against regulations). If having a glass of wine with lunch is now considered even conceivably to be improper in France, I think they need to change the name of the country to something that isn't France. Might I suggest Franceland or Freedomland? Plenty of places have completely banned alcohol. It is now totally banned at the various stations of Radio France, even for things like retirement or Christmas parties -- they couldn't stop mentioning it on the air at the drop of a hat when the ban first went into effect.

A boozeless retirement or Christmas party is just another office meeting. But nobody is pretending to enjoy office meetings.

Oh, I have one bottle left. I'd better drink it or it won't be nouveau anymore!
