I love iron and am enjoying this thread very much! The iron mixed with wood is spectacular, bixa!

Such graceful curves, Htmb..
You're cute, Lugg, & your curley-cues are wonderful. I love that last picture for its pure photographic perfection.

Where are your pics from Bixa? Took this pic back in Feb of 2010: I could have sworn I'd posted these two, but apparently not. They're part of the planned, but as yet unexecuted Puebla thread.

Those are quite something Bixa. A lot of sweat over a hot anvil there.

I'm finally remembering to post something here as a sort of companion to your (surely Paris?) photos above at #121. That's because when I saw this awning in Puebla, I immediately remembered your pictures:

Yes, bixa, I think my picture was of one of the embassies near Trocadero in Paris. Thanks for remembering.

Sorry for the late answer, Htmb. Yes, that's in the floor of La Soledad church, near the front door. It was too bright to see inside the grate when I took the picture.

Elegant Paris (at the Petit Palais): Inelegant Paris: And downright alarming (on a church in Innsbruck):
