Careful kerouac, I can quite easily travel to Paris and force you to share some truly average red wine!!!! That will teach you!!!

Re: #34 ~~ at last, some appreciation. I wonder if the lad knew I was draped across the piano while singing.

#34 is brilliant!
Well done Kerouac.
Iain, come here rather, with your cheap wine.

Heh!
For one moment, I thought Michelle Pfeiffer was Lauren Bacall in that picture.
If you want to represent me draped across the piano, you might need to find a picture of Margaret Truman instead.

Ah, the director/producer/leading man really outdid himself with that one! I feel the intellectual and sexual tension between the two principals was masterfully shown and subtly mined for maximum poignancy.

What a beautiful piece of film-making! The viewer so keenly feels the frustration of the young man -- so dimly aware of his own intellectual limitations, yet possibly poised on the brink of a flight to a higher realm. Will his ancient mentor be able to reach him? These and other questions are handled with an understated dramatic tension that keeps viewers in its grip.

#49 ~~ one of the best yet. I admire how our hero doesn't let the palm wine go to his head.
