That's a Moran tug! Nice shot. Thanks! Didn't know what the M stood for. Are they a local company?

Absolutely beautiful, Jazz. My immediate thought was "looks like an Impressionist painting" -- then I saw the caption. What a homage to the subject -- perfect.

(There have been a surprising number of good Cloud images and Color! shots on this boat thread. The following is not one of them! But it is a boat picture.) The tender coming to take us to the Rum Runner catamaran for our "sail" to the Great Barrier Reef. Cape Tribulation, NQL, Australia.

Here is the little electric boat that connects the six screens on each side of the MK2 Quai de Seine/Quai de Loire multiplex in case you buy your ticket on the wrong side.

Beautiful pictures. That is one thing I miss about living on a body of water -- the sight and sound of boat traffic.
Kerouac ~~ "six screens"; "ticket" ......... are you referring to a cinema?!

Beautiful pictures. That is one thing I miss about living on a body of water -- the sight and sound of boat traffic. Kerouac ~~ "six screens"; "ticket" ......... are you referring to a cinema?! Yes, there's a cineplex in the former boat hangars on both sides of the water.

Thanks, Kerouac -- I did see "multiplex" but was thinking "surely not!". What a cool use for the hangars.
Fabulous view there, Imec. Where?

Your first photo in #50 is just wonderful, Bjd. The subject matter is of course interesting, but it's the way all the different elements are grouped in the picture that I really like.
That paddlewheeler in Hamburg pic gave me a quick intense image of riverboat gamblers in ruffled shirts and lederhosen.
Imec, that's a beautiful and evocative photograph.

Super interesting. That is such rugged land in the third picture, right down to the water's edge. The last photo is particularly full of fascinating detail.
