A few weeks ago, South African Airways crew members were arrested at Heathrow airport for drug smuggling. Some were released, some were arrested in South Africa, alongs with security guards and customs officials.
Yesterday, 15 crew members arrested at Heathrow airport, for smuggling drugs.
You would think that after colleagues being arrested you would lay low for a while.
Idiots, though they deserve to rot in whichever jail they end up in.

On my airline, when there was a big drug traffic, they were using the inside of the armrests as a hiding place. They had accomplices in the aircraft cleaning crews.

I love the doggies that check luggage at the Santiago airport. They are labs or golden retrivers and wear these cute little police vests.

I just heard on the news this morning, that while they have dogs to do this, they do not use them on crew luggage. *shakes head*

I don't know if it's still this way, but there were always working dogs with the police on the bridges from Reynosa and Matamoros Mexico into the US. There are signs up about not petting the dogs, but the handlers seemed to appreciate people being friendly to their dogs.
