Lugg, I am embarrassed at how naive I am! Honestly, your wonderful earlier coverage lulled me into thinking of the Maldives as a special paradise only enjoyed by people sensitive to nature and the environment. Obviously a place like that is just ripe to be exploited by all the entities you named, I just never thought about it before. You have produced a wonderful piece of reporting on all that needs to be done both to protect the island and to cater to the paying guests. Impressive & fascinating! But the underwater pictures ~~ damn, girl!!!!! This time you have really surpassed yourself. I am in love with Napoleon, the anemone (?) shots are outstanding, and all the fishies really showed off for you. That sunset shot just about did me in with its beauty. Thank you for this astounding report & of course you can always go ahead & show more pics if you decide to

What a breathtakingly beautiful place. I'd love to see it. Hopefully it doesn't get ruined by overdevelopment.

Thank you nycgirl. It really is ... parts are very over-developed but many parts are not ... so far
