Haven't seen any of these in my backyard, though I do see elk on the hillsides above the road into town. We did have a moose cow and calf walk right through our yard a year ago, and bears are sporadic visitors, even walking up a couple stairs onto the deck to try to pilfer sunflower seed from the birdfeeders. I hate wiping their muddy paw prints off the windows, but am glad that none have broken in, to date.

Kimby - I am going to be spending a LOT of time in very flat eastern Montana during the summer, fall, and winter (a new client). I must admit that I've never before had a client more than three hours from the nearest airport.
