Yes, the people are more interesting than that nasty southern food those delicious local specialities!

Yeah! Hoping you had a great time and will be looking for your post. P.S. I tried to take a photo of the photo (as the original is literally stuck to a page in a photo album) but that did not work.

Well, the festival was a huge success. The crowds enormous. I took a bunch of pics but, I don't know if they came out and am going to try and get someone to try and help me to upload them. I'm having technical difficulties trying to figure out how to use this new computer and the way my other older one was set up is way different . I'll try the best I can. I will say, there were sooo many people, that it was difficult to get as many actual food pics than it was in previous years. There was a section of the street that was virtually impenetrable by 12:00 p.m. As for my own sampling, I tried a couple but refuse to queue up in a line 40-50 deep for a po-boy I can get any day of the week.

I'm glad to hear how great it was & hearing about the long lines was good sour grapes feedback for me, since I couldn't be there in person. I know you'll triumph over the new computer & look forward to the super pictures. Meanwhile, I'm here in Oklahoma, dreaming of Louisiana food.
