One web site I regularly keep up to date with is this one - www.africa-overland.net/It consists of links to web sites of ordinary people who embark upon overland journeys through Africa, Asia, Americas etc. They are just like me and you, but have decided to do something different.

You'd have to do some swift talking. LOL! My first take was You'd have to do some swift walking. If you count oversea as overland you might be able to get to Djibuti, maybe from Yemen?
