I will attempt to show pictures taken last autumn.
We attended a birthday lunch at Dartington Hall near Totnes, Devon and then took advantage of the still clement weather to indulge in a "passegiata" around its wonderful gardens.

I hope the pictures won't show too big. I've messed a few pics trying to re-size in photobucket. All photos courtesy of Maffoo. nice bench!

Nice, love the round seat in one of the first pics. The leaves give an abandoned look to it but make it much more appealing to the eye.

My favourite is the "weed" struggling through the stone crack. Since my earliest youth, I have been in awe and admiration of any plant that pushes itself through a crack.

There's an art school (part of the University) on the premises, but they are due to move to Cornwall very soon.
Dartington Hall will then have to count on its restaurant and wedding banquets /pictures for its survival.

I love that one, too, K! Colourful nature fighting back civilisation to bring us some beauty.

So lovely, Annie ~~ thanks for taking us along on your walk.
The shot of the bench with the fallen leaves is just wonderful --- they all are. I love "dizzying".
I am a big fan of cemeteries, and your pics are particularly beautiful.

dizzying is Maffoo's favourite picture. Very impressionistic!
oooh! maybe I'll have to take a few pics of St Bartholomew's cemetery for you, Bixabella.

Spring offers many new opportunities for this kind of report (and a definite contrast with the autumn version)!

just have to find a "dry" day at the weekend. Today is so grey that the light isn't good for any pics.
