Here's a subject to which a lot of people can contribute. (Well, OnlyMark might have to use photos from places other than where he is living.) I'll just start off with tonight's shower, but I'll find plenty more rainy photos soon.

It looks bloody cold! No wonder I live here. The best I can do is just after there was a sprinkle -

It was a bit. Just enough rain to darken it a little.

Yes, nice theme. Here's my contribution, for now anyway. It's been raining like crazy last couple of days and it looks like it's going to stay that way for a while:

It is cold, Spindrift. We need some nice Spring weather. But we always seem to get a bit of rain before the Spring finally comes in.

I so wish I could be contributing to this now. Gimme another month. I love rain and I particularly love your picture of all the people in the crosswalk -- great color and composition. Big beautiful sky there, Mark. Do you have any more rainbow pics, and have you seen this thread?

I wanted the pink umbrella in the crosswalk, too, but then, damn it, she veered off in another direction.

You're kidding! I think the way she's disappearing out of the frame almost makes the picture. All that color coordination would have drawn too much attention to itself if she'd been more prominent in the photo. As it is, the blowing skirt, bright umbrella, & great shoes give it a whole marching-to-a-different drummer air and create some interesting tension for the eye over in that part of the picture. I like it!

Spindrift -- what a wonderful group of pictures! You so captured the feeling of rainy days, and each photo is so different from the others -- love it.

Really well done, Sprindrift. You always have such a good way of capturing the moment in your photos.

I imagine the pots were in Spinny's garden?

Walked from the office to the metro in pouring rain. (This building was my old office!) Would beautiful shiny gold shoes for 385€ keep my feet dry?

Yes, two pics were taken in my garden! My new gold shoes aren't as gold and shiny as those Parisian ones.... actually I don't like them shiny....

Ha! That is such a great contrast in the second photo, with the mannequins ready for sun and the beach, and the pedestrians hurrying through the rain -- really witty!
