Great shots B. particularly in light of my knowledge of your fondness for all things feline I really have to laugh because of the 2 things I know you are most fond of, you captured beautifully.

Thank you. They are pretty and graceful animals, and that white stuff is pure and sparkly.

Those are really excellent. I wonder how they felt about having been out in the snow when they got back in close to a source of heat.

If you were wondering why I've been such an ungrateful wretch and failed to join in, I've been having a hard time viewing the pictures - I opened the larger photos as separate tinypic files, but still only see the treetops in the upper right-hand photo.
Yes, they are lovely. Renzo doesn't play in the snow any more since he went missing a little over a year ago. Casimira, yes, I did always think of bixa as more of a dog-person. I hate snow too, but today it actually is white and sparkly, except on the road of course. Very few cars have gone by, and not a single cyclist - we usually get several hardcore types pedalling by in all weathers - but the city snowplough has passed, stirring up brownish-grey stuff in its wake. (There isn't a lot of snow; they are just keeping the road clear).

Neighborhood dogs playing in the street. That's my mutt in the background. Tug of war in the vacant lot.

The dog on the left this last photo of the tug-o-war reminds me of our NGUNI cattle here in Africa, with all those spots! www.ngunicattle.info/
