I'm sure that I have seen la souris amoureuse (the amorous mouse) many times before. No, I am not even sure it is a mouse. Anyway, no web search has turned up any trace of the author of this subject. If I were just a little crazier, I would suspect myself of having a split personality (in spite of a total lack of artistic talent), because all of the latest manifestations have been in my neighborhood all around my apartment, and in the metro right next to where I work. But I am now going to be on the lookout for any other examples of this creature elsewhere in Paris.

Arrrr....someone's in love. Kerouac you shouldn't be drawing stuff like that all over the place, you know they'll catch up with you eventually and make you clean it all off!

Okay, I suppose that those useless wings might have you perplexed. But have you ever actually seen a mouse in France? Are you sure they are the same as your mice?

I wonder if there is some kind of connection or is it just a coincidence?
