Did you furrow your brow to come up with that one?

Furrow? Have we moved onto farming verbs then?
I'm feeling quite harrowed..........

Is it possible to harvest any new examples?

If not, we'll have to leave it be, although it would be a shock if no one was able to thresh a few more from this fertile field.

I thought we had exhausted the animal verbs, but watching Mary Poppins tonight, I saw that there was talk of larking about.

Nope. It's going to dog your steps forever.

Are verbs such as "hiss", which both cats and snakes do, kosher in this thread? She hissed at the fellow who was catcalling her. Note that my example was usage number 2 in the OED. Catcall is both a noun and a verb. It is obvious that it is the sound of either an angry cat of either sex, or a horny tomcat en.oxforddictionaries.com/definition/catcallPussycats in heat have a different wail. Both are insupportable, even for cat lovers.

To catwalk ?
Unless I am bull shitting somebody ?
To chat ? (I had difficulty to understand that verb first I encountered it).

I always have trouble with chat when I see it in writing, though I have always spoken English as well as French.
Trois petits chats!
On the canine side, relieved that we do have to hound, as I didn't recall seeing it here. Around this time of year, children hound their parents for presents.
Hound was from K2, right after Bixa's longlist.
Y'aint nothing but a hound dog!

An old thread is reactivated, that's good. I do have a memory of it.
Though I cannot compete with the posts that dazzle me with their wit. They make me cackle. They tower above anything I can add though I will crash in with my attempts which I have made bold to avoid any confusion. I just hope I don't bloat out this thread due to my obstinacy.
