Do you find yourself looking for snacks after dinner is over? I mean, in the evening while watching T.V. or just relaxing?
If so, what do you normally go for? Chips? Chocolate, ice-cream or do you try and choose a more healthy snack?

I usually eat enough dinner to satisfy myself until bedtime -- but I don't eat very early, compared to most people in North America, usually around 20:30 or so.
If I eat something later on, 95% of the time it will be ice cream.

That is pretty late to have dinner, Kerouac.
I used to go for ice-cream too. But lately I've been going aiming for yogurt instead.

No, that is a perfectly normal time to eat dinner in France, in northern and central Italy, and several other parts of Europe. Even in more northerly places like the Netherlands, dinner is rarely before seven. In southern Italy and Spain, dinner can be much later.
I rarely give in to such snacking, but it would be salty stuff for me. At worst, chips. At best, cheese, or nuts. Those are highly nutritious foods, but also high in calories and fat, so they should be eaten in moderation by people who work in front of a computer screen.
I'm more inclined to mix yoghourt - thick, goats' or ewes' milk - with savouries like garlic, herbs, cucumber etc so more of a "dish" typically served to friends for that kind of mezze-tapas group snackery.

What's with this HANG? Yet another forum? I guess I'll have to have a look.
Meanwhile, I was starving for supper (which we don't normally eat) so I heated leftover rice and black beans and fried two eggs. After, I had some cheese and a banana. After all, a growing boy needs his food.

Now you're in trouble, Don. The trouble with me is I just love surgery stuff, and staying away from it is hard. So, last night I had Chocolate Mint ice-cream.
