This article talks about animals mimicking human behavior. I find that incredibly pretentious. I would tend to think that we are mimicking the behavior of certain animals.

Well, human beings are extremely self-centred.
One of my favourite lines is "The universe was not created with human beings in mind". Unfortunately, I can't remember where i read it. Maybe Stephen Hawking.

But we are all animals...why would it be so surprising that we share emotions, characteristics and behaviour with other animals? I've never understood why we assume that we are the only creatures to feel grief, hate, love, joy, irritation etc etc...that's why we manage to build intense relationships with our 'pets' isn't it? It makes perfect sense to me......
