Jade Goody vs cervical cancer

Like her or loathe her, I do feel terrible for her two boys, and it must be a very scary time for her as she probably only has a few weeks to live.

So, did anyone follow her wedding? Even though I didn't think much of her antics in Big Brother, I can't begrudge her a day of happiness. And apparently, she's sent a wakeup call to all women to get their Pap smears done regularly.

Reminds me..... I need to make an appointment.

No, I have never been a Jade fan but exactly as you say she did make me book an appointment for my overdue appointment.

I also can't begrudge anyone making as much money as they can, anyway they can, to ensure their children are looked after when they are gone. It must be an incredibly lonely place knowing that you won't see them grow up, its hearbreaking.

I think in some ways, she horrifies me - yet I admire her ingenuity and the way she's doing everything in her power to make sure her sons are looked after. A big part of me hopes that she defies all the experts and hangs around for a long while, yet.

I still haven't made my appointment - but will do so as soon as my jaw/tooth is fixed up.
