Yes, that is one of the main areas of activities (hence the acrobatic elephant). Lots of the troubadours perform there all day long. Relative silence is imposed at 22:00 when the main performance of the "real" festival takes over in the Palais des Papes. At the moment, it is a new translation of Shakespeare's Richard II. Tomorrow night it will be broadcast live on France 2, the principal public television network.

The "On" ended on Tuesday and the "Off" ends tonight. I already can't wait for next year.

I thought of Fringe Fest myself!
Is it just me, or does the marionette guy look like House from the US TV show?
What wonderful pictures and video, I quite felt I had peeped out here and there along the streets and in the fields with you. Thank you so much for posting.
