I did not register the name Livaco.Until I looked at his filmography, did I realize who he was. What a brilliant actor, yes, and quite an amazing career of films. My goodness,Milagro Bean Field Wars, one of my favorite films,Natural Born Killers and most recently,Apaloosa, among many I haven't seen. So sorry for our loss and most especially yours Livaco,as a friend.

Oh no! You know, I don't think I ever knew his name, even though I always brightened up when he came on the screen. There was something about him that always seemed so genuine and decent. Darn!
So sorry.

Appaloosa is an excellent movie, and I am not a fan of westerns.

casimira, -- Milagro Beanfield Wars was his favorite movie, too. He used to have a horse ranch in Ocala Florida and named it Milagro Ranch. Here in Milwaukee his role that got the most recognition is that of the coach in Major League. That movie was a big deal here since it also starred our old Brewers baseball stadium. He has had cancer for a while now, so it wasn't unexpected, but he will be missed.
