Rained briefly but quite hard. Sun came out. Muggy now.

It rained so hard it sounded as though fire hoses had been turned on the house. The yard was flooded as was the street. Also, the skinny glass louvered windows over the stairs were open, resulting in wet stairs, banister, and the half wall between the upstairs hall and the staircase.
I have a 100 liter garbage can that I want to fill with rainwater. I placed it under a dripping place at the edge of the carport and now it's half full.

I'm just happy that it rained hard enough here to clean all of the pigeon shit off the attic windows. There were only a couple of spots on each window, but looking at them ends up becoming an obsession.

We would love a small downpour just to refill the 5,000L water tanks we have been using to water the garden. Mainly my rose beds. Otherwise its another bright clear sunny day with a high of 26C at 1pm.

It cooled off here quite a bit even though the weekend was pretty nice when the sun was shining. Right now it's 15° and it just started to rain again.

Windy and very pleasant (72°) here. It's overcast, but the sun is trying to peek through.

Rainy here, and it should rain all day. I'm not tired of the rain yet.

We had lots of rain starting yesterday afternoon but this morning it's mostly sunny but cool. It was only 10° this morning but should warm up as the sun shines.

It's four in the morning here, & somehow the rain woke me up. It's fairly gentle but persistent and the frogs and other little creatures are peeping away.

We had a very unexpected rain shower for about an hour early evening, about 6 . I had just finished planting veg seeds so I'm sure that will help them sprout. Very icy wind today. 3C up to 17C today.

Total Juneuary in effect here. Mud, puddles, rain, clouds. To be fair, the murk and muck is warmer than during Winter.

The last of what will most assuredly be any type of cool fronts moved in yesterday and is forecasted to last through the weekend.
Dry and cool air combined with gentle breezes has energized me to follow through with some chores long overdue.
Temperatures in the mid 80F's and as low as 70F at night, all I can think is if only...

Coolish and rainy on and off here these days. When the sun comes out it gets warm really quickly. We are supposed to get low 20s this week but right now (9am) it's 15°.

Ffffffreeezing! All floors in the house are on practically full strength and it is so comforting to walk into a warm house. Will I ever be satisfied because in 4 months time I will have the aircon on full blast!

Pleasantly warm here, although the humidity has made it feel muggy. We get big puffy, sometime ominous clouds every afternoon. Those are supposed to turn into rain the rest of this week.

Yes, big puffy clouds look nice but they do mean rain and storms. Right now it's raining here too and 15°, but it's still early.

Something has gone badly wrong with our weather, we have had a gloriously dry spring till now, then it has spoilt it all and rained all night. Eased off now but we have had an inch overnight.

We had extreme wind last weekend at the lake cottage. Our place survived, but one neighbor lost shingles from his roof and another’s dock ripped loose and almost floated away, tethered to the lake floor by one corner post. Our next-door neighbor’s weather station recorded a gust of 84 mph and sustained winds of 60-65 mph for FIVE hours!

Yes its fathers Day here too on Sunday. But guess who is getting all the attention…..the grandsons! they are coming for the weekend to my son and tomorrow I am baking Brownies and a Vanilla sponge for them. Their dad will also enjoy the treats. All my husband wants is a nice curry. I can do that.
