As with all the previously posted pics, the action shots you captured are really impressive. This was a fun report, thanks for taking the time to do this for us. (I would love to have that particular feature on a camera to capture dance performances and the like, all of mine,as mentioned by others as well, always come out blurry).(I remember when those mechanical bulls were all the rage after some movie with Debra Winger in it was popular. You could go into just about any barroom and they had one in it,not a pretty sight to see someone on after one too many alcoholic beverages. ).

I kept meaning to come back to this thread and enjoy the rest of the rodeo, but somehow failed to do so. This is just so much fun, especially with your excellent photography, Imec. What gets me is the level of skill that's displayed. I guess some of the participants are professional rodeo people, but others must be dedicated amateurs, right? As I went through the pictures again, I realized I was perched on the edge of my chair -- yeeee haaa, indeed! In #26, some of the chuck wagon drivers are standing up as they drive , and in the very next picture two of the wagons are almost touching as they race forward! And the chariots, with four horses abreast -- it almost seems impossible. Again, I'm blown away by what you caught and how you cropped and presented it. That last photo in #27, with the driver framed between the heads and hind ends of horses, his musculature tensely delineated, the flaring nostrils and flying manes of the striving horses, plus the hooves in mid-air ~~ just wow. It's impossible to pick out favorites, though, as each and every picture conveys the the excitement, even the smells of the rodeo. This was a stellar trip!
