They have some very good players but are inconsistent. It seems they keep their best for matches against India.(Nothing to back this up by way of stats.)

But isn't a lot of the English team of Pakistani origin, too?

The Empire strikes back...in Oz we resented the way England would send scouts out to commonwealth countries and cherry-pick the best players to represent England.

We have so many cricketers of Asian origin that grandson is regarded as an honorary Pakistani. I’m surprised there aren’t more playing for Englad.
In one game he played last season, out of 22 players only 2 weren’t of Asian heritage.
He is hoping to play in a tour to Pakistan in 2 years time.

Weather forecast isn’t great.
Actually early spring is a pretty daft time to hold a World Cup Cricket tournament anyway. The equivalent of April here.

Mr Warner is a bloody hero. Batted on with massive cramps hitting him all over to get his 200. Stuff that up your nose ACB! The Bay 13 mob were behind every move he made...I'm sure they drove him on. Limped off with assistance looking wrecked. Shades of Rick McCosker in the Centenary Test.

Evening Mick, G'Day all. I'm back again...a little more knocked around but get my priorities right...cricket first, THEN the rest of the world's woes. The various codes of "footy" finished their seasons last night leaving their fans jubilant or not,, and tonnes of rubbish at the grounds. We fans of the willow and leather (Work it out for yourselves..).[Not you Mick!]) maintain the beauty and graciousness of bygone days and bin our rubbish.
Well, I have a lot of catching up to do, see you on Parkies track when I can get there myself.
