I hope Don Cuevas posts some photos of Tzintzuntzan in the North American board. It's a fascinating little town with a very long history.
Don, I would personally appreciate it if you can get snaps of the ancient olive trees. My camera with film of that in it got stolen.

Yaaay! Thanks.
Okay, WHAT is the story on the elderly novios?
I am going to be checking the Ports of Call or the North American boards continuously until you regale us with that tale!

Is it known when those ancient olives were planted? They look older than those I've seen around the Med.

my handle is the name of the street I live on. it's short and easy to pronounce in multiple languages. and it's my TT name, and my TTR name too. creature of habit, me.

That definitely clinches it, Clichy!
I don't know what I read or heard, but for some reason the word "Clichy" summons up great elegance in my mind.

Bix, how is your name pronounced? I appreciate your friendly welcoming.
I chose mine because easy to type and say, and it's one of the aliases I use at coffee shops when they want your first name. (Hate having it yelled out in public)
Also, the song LO la, lo lo lo lo LO la etc.

Oh, that's great the way you use it as an alias, Lola. I love the name Lola -- there is something so feminine and fun about it.
My name should properly be written Bixa orellana. It's the botanical name for the annato (achiote) tree. The first time I heard the term, I knew I needed it for an alternate name ... and here I am!
To answer your question, I think the botanical name is properly pronounced bee-ha, but I'm having none of that. I am Bixa or Bixie to rhyme with Trixie. (or Bix as in weetabix)
