Eek ~~ science class! That was my attitude as I tentatively touched the key for magnesium. Not only did I learn stuff, but my previous indifference towards magnesium has been replaced with a certain amount of affection. Be sure to scroll down below the table on the site to see what else they have to offer. \\\\\ click /////

Oh, jeez, I just looked at one of these (a rare element) and almost died from the unbearable geekiness of the presenter.

Thanks, Lola. It's nice to see someone who not only doesn't resist learning, but also doesn't sit in the back of the class throwing spitballs.

Well, I went to phosphorus to see the special effects, but the greatest special effect was the hairdo of the deskbound scientist.

I LOVE the guy's geekiness. Great hair-do. ;D
Anyway, it's at a much simpler level, but this is what I show my (10 year old) students to introduce them to the elements:

You should show them this one, so they can aspire to to be real scientists when they grow up!

If Harry Potter had done that at Hogwarts, he might have graduated instead of having to run away into the forest.
